In 2018, on a very much needed trip to the Caribbean, we found ourselves in the midst of a tropical storm. It was during that storm, that Away Together was created. We soon realized that there was no platform that allowed for safe communication between all of the interesting people we met on the trip. Away Together was born.

The staffing at the hotel I manage is limited, how can you make their jobs more efficient?

We offer one-way notifications from the accommodation to the guest. If the staff needs to communicate something it is as easy as sending a text message or an email. Conversely, guests need to use traditional methods to contact the staff. This way your staff is not constantly on a phone or computer looking for messages. Also, this eliminates the expensive, cumbersome, and time consuming mission of delivering notes under doors and dealing with guest complaints that they weren't informed.

I manage a hotel with multiple restaurants that feature rotating menus. Can we display different menus at multiple locations on different calendar days?

Absolutely! Once your accommodation is uploaded with all of your dining options (at no extra charge, you have complete back-end control of offering rotating menus for specific calendar days or offering any special features for one specific day. The best part, any change(s) sends out a notification to your guests eliminating chalk boards and the need to deliver notes to every room.

I am planning an individual event, can we use the features of Away Together to communicate with our attendees?

Absolutely, we can assign a QR code and/or manual Unique Identifier for you to communicate with your participants.

How do I know who my guests are communicating with?

By downloading the Away Together app, your guest will be prompted to scan a QR code or enter a manual code. This identifier logs them into a specific accommodation. No one will have access to the messaging component of Away Together outside of this environment. Guests are also geo-fenced to the location. Once a guest leaves the geographical area they will lose the ability to communicate with guests on site.

Our guests want to see what is going on, but otherwise just want to read a book on the beach, can they do that?

Yes! Simply have the guest go into the settings menu and toggle on/off what ever features they will utilize.

We have guests that are on extended holiday and their service stopped, what happened?

As an added security feature the messaging component expires after 10 days. If guests are on an extended stay, simply have them scan the QR code or re-enter the identifier code and they will be back up and running.

The hotel I own is relatively small and our budget is limited, how does your pricing work?

We primarily operate as a monthly subscription based on the size of your accommodation. Please contact us so we can discuss what pricing and payment options work best for you.

Does it cost anything for the guest to use the application?

No, Away Together is absolutely free to the guest.
